So this is my second love Thursday. I've been scanning my brain for the past week, trying to figure out what makes me happy. I came to one conclusion, POSTCARDS!

Those are a few samples of the postcards I've been getting in the mail. For the past 3 months I've been active in a postcard exchange community in livejournal. I've been trading posties with
random people from all across the world. It's a great feeling coming home to postcards after a long tiring day of work. It's been making me smile. It may put a dent in my pocket/wallet but it's something that makes me truly truly happy so I don't really mind.
I guess it brings me back to the days when letters were sent via airmail and when everything was more personal. I miss seeing hand writing. I miss getting birthday cards, letter and postcards from friends. In this world where everything is fast paced, waiting a week for letter seems like a year but it is so worth it.
I also like sending random friends abroad postcards as a surprise. I send birthday cards and christmas cards but those are expected. Postcards are usually something you don't expect to see these days. We all seem so comfortable with emails, calls and text. I'm not complaining, its just that handmade letters are still way better than anything electronic.
So, if you want a postcard, drop me a line. :)
